Officially opening its doors on May 4, 2013, the center is the realization of a community vision to build a true Civic Center that would serve as a vibrant gathering place for both Newport Beach residents and visitors. This self-guided tour is designed to enrich your visiting experience as you stroll through the 16 acres of park and restored wetlands, take in the striking architectural features of the City Hall and Council Chambers, learn about the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) design strategies or check out the Central Library collections, programs and services.
